WAOP silent installation is not reading the JDK inputted in the silent install properties file

Issue/Introduction

Description:

When we were trying to upgrade WAOP from R12.52 SP1 to R12.52 SP1 CR01 with silent installation, Web agent option pack silent installation is giving below mentioned Non-Fatal Errors. It is unable to pick up the JDK path which is mentioned in the input file.

                          Additional Notes: ERROR -     class com.netegrity.brlib.customcode.CheckMinVersion.install() runtime exception:

 

Install Action:           InstallAnywhere Variable

                          Status: ERROR

                          Additional Notes: ERROR - java.lang.StackOverflowError

 

Also after the installation, we could see that the JDK path is missing under ca-wa-opack-installer.Propertes file.

Both Web agent and web agent option pack are installed on different boxes.

 

Issue:

WAOP silent installation is not reading the JDK inputted in the silent install properties file.

Silent Install properties file is providing a key called NETE_JDK_ROOT for JDK path, but this is not being processed by the installer.

 

Solution:

It is a defect#161363 identified in R12.52 SP1 CR01 WAOP and this will be fixed in 12.52 SP01 CR03, 12.51 CR08 and RIG release. Please contact CA Support for more details.
