TSS6093E FACILITY TYPE NOT CICS at Start of Top Secret

Issue/Introduction

At Start-up of CA Top Secret, the syslog shows the following error messages: 

000090 TSS6093E FACILITY TYPE NOT CICS 

000090 TSS9079E INVALID DATA 

000090 TSS9076I CURRENT OPTION IS <) > 

000090 *TSS9020W INVALID PARAMETER FILE OPTION

 

Resolution

The messages are indicating that a facility defined in the CA Top Secret parameter file is not TYPE=CICS, yet the facility includes control option(s) that are for CICS facilities only. To address the messages, either remove the CICS only options or specify FAC(xxxx=TYPE=CICS) before the CICS only options.      

An example of a TYPE=CICS only option would be MAXSIGN.
