Cause

The CPU threshold alarm is from the device chAlarmExdCpuThreshold trap mapped in the $SPECROOT/SS/CsVendor/Force10/AlertMap file NOT from the Spectrum CPU threshold functionality configured in the Thresholds and Watches -> Thresholds subview in the Information tab of the model.

The out of the box device CPU thresholding functionality generates the 0x10f03 event when the CPU threshold is exceeded.

Major Dec 12, 2014 2:00:38 PM EST <Device Name> High CPU Utilization.  The utilization of 88% for CPU instance 2 named 'CPU: 2' has exceeded the 80% threshold on model <Device Name> for more than the acceptable time period. System   0x10f03

 

 

The chAlarmExdCpuThreshold trap generates event 0x5bc0026:

The CPU utilization has exceeded 80%.
