Best Practices for upgrading your Spectrum Secure Domain Connector (SDC)

Environment

Release: Any
Component: Secure Domain Manager/Connector

Resolution

• Stop the SDC
• Backup the sdc.config and trapX.config (if TrapX is installed) files to a safe place
• Completely uninstall the SDC currently installed
• Install the new SDC
• Copy the saved sdc.comfig and trapX.config (if TrapX is installed) files to the <SDC Install Dir>/bin directory
• Restart SDC
