How do I back up the BrightStor Portal product?

Resolution

To backup BrightStor Portal, use a backup product, such as BrightStor ARCserve or BrightStor Enterprise Backup. Back up the BrightStor Portal install directory, eTrust Common Services and Unicenter Common Services directories (these are peer and sub-directories of the BrightStor Portal Directory), registry settings, and database tables. Back up the BPDB and TNGDB databases and all databases whose names begin with the prefix CA. BPDB may not exist if you selected to customize the name of the BrightStor Portal database at the time of installation. If t his is the case, simply back up the database with your customized name. Registry keys needed are all keys found under the Computer Associates registry hive found in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software section.
