How do I start and stop the Instrument Gateways(iGateway)?

Resolution

The Instrument Gateway runs as a service, so you can configure the iGateway service to start automatically by using the Windows Services Manager. You can also stop and stop the service using the Windows Services Manager.

You can also start and stop the iGateway manually by entering the following commands from the Command Prompt, as follows:

To start the iGateway:
     Net start iGateway

To stop the iGateway:
     Net stop iGateway

You can also stop the iGateway by right-clicking on the iGateway service icon in the systray and selecting shutdown.
