Is there a function in Easytrieve that will search a string for specific characters?

Issue/Introduction

For release 6.4, there is a macro shipped with the product called STRSRCH that will search a string. This macro resides in the SAMPJCL file. Instructions may also be found in the member STRSRDOC. It can be copied to your maclib.  Where is this under release 11.x?

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

Easytrieve does not deliver STRSRCH under release 11.x as it did under release 6.4.
You may copy this from release 6.4 to release 11.x.

If you don't find it in your Easytrieve 6.4 macro library CAIMAC, please check the SAMPJCL data set for this macro and its documentation in member STRSRDOC.
