Error message "ESF427 - FCB IMAGE (LINE) NOT FOUND" printing to a TCP/IP printer using print driver, node parameter TCPDRIV=PCL5F
Why isn't the FCB member found in the PCLLIB library?
Spool searches the System Image Library (SYS1.IMAGELIB) first, then searches the libraries allocated by the IMAGELIB DD statement in the Spool procedure.
If the FCB is not found this error message will be issued, the PCLLIB Library will not be searched and the report will not print. The FCB must reside in the System or User Image Library in order for Spool to properly process channel skips within the file.
The PCLLIB FCB member enables you to add formatting PCL commands to control, for example, orientation and lines per page for a particular report. This same FCB can also have DEVICE dependent PCL command strings.
