What is the CCS Repository and what does it do in relation to PORTAL?

Resolution

The CCS Repository is part of the Common Services (CCS) that are included with Portal. The CCS Repository is used to store information that the Portal discovers about your environment, including information about hosts, switches, applications, and other objects. This information is used to support a variety of services, including Host Discovery, Application Discovery, Method Import, iSponsor publishing, and others.
