How to resolve the "B070 VALUE NOT WITHIN ACCEPTABLE RANGE - LINESIZE" error

Issue/Introduction

To resolve this, please check the Easytrieve Option File parameter LINESIZE and confirm if it is set to the expected value of 132.

Next, please check the Easytrieve program and see the following:
Is the LINESIZE not coded and thereby using the Option File default of 132?
Or, is the LINESIZE coded with an acceptable number from 80 to 132?

 

Environment

Easytrieve Plus Report Generator, release 6.4

Resolution

If there does not seem to be a problem with the Easytrieve LINESIZE parameter, please try running the program outside of Endevor to see if the program runs without error.
If the program returns the expected output, then the problem is due to Endevor's SYSPRINT record (which is overriding the LINESIZE).
Please discuss correcting the SYSPRINT record with the Endevor administrator.
