Issue/Introduction

How tp maintain ACM ROOT and XREF Files.

Resolution

A regular BC1PACMO run is required to reorganize the ROOT and XREF file. Endevor Support recommends to run BC1PACMO at least once a week and possibly more frequently for large shops. This job should normally run in a few minutes, but during this time all ROOT and XREF file access will be impossible. Sites that use ACMIDXUP=Y should consider running this job during low ACM update hours. Running this job during peak update times may cause Endevor Users to go into a wait state while attempting to access these files. The JCL to execute BC1PACM0 is called BC1JACM0 and located in IPRX.IQUAL.CSIQJCL.
