What to do when the EZTVFM file is full

This message
     A004 CATASTROPHIC ERROR IN MODULE A140 04 136E?
an indication that the EZTVFM file is out of space. Increase the EZTVFM space in the JCL. VFM space cannot span packs.

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

If more space is needed, then WORK files are needed.
Using report WORK files means that spooling is done to the respective WORK file, not to the EZTVFM.

[WORKFILE ( {YES|NO} [number-of-cylinders] )]
Use WORKFILE YES instead of VFM if you have multiple large reports in your program. NO is the default. When YES is specified, sequential temporary disk files will be dynamically allocated for use as Report Workfiles. The space allocated for each file is indicated by the number-of-cylinders parameter. If DD statements are coded for the Report Workfiles, the number-of-cylinders parameter is ignored. For more information about print statement processing, see the Programming Guide.
