Component: DISKUX

Resolution

BrightStor Disk Unix can process any file systems mounted under OMVS. This includes remote file systems, and even proprietary physical file systems. In fact, there are DSCL commands to assist in selecting specific file system types, including SCAN MVS (for MVS-specific file systems) and SCAN REMOTE (for NFS file systems). Due to the nature of NFS, however, there may be performance considerations when remote file systems are processed.
