Issue/Introduction

*NONE* is being used for the storage group name.  We do not specify this in the DEFINE SGROUP parameters and are want to know where it is coming from.

Environment

Component: ASTEX

Resolution

When BrightStor  ASTEX starts, it scans all of the DASD UCBs and assigns volumes to its SGROUPs based upon DFSMS Storgroups or DEFINE SGROUP definitions in your ASXPARM. If BrightStor  ASTEX encounters volumes that do not fit into these groupings, it will assign them to the SGROUP of *NONE*.
