Reviewing the Database Management for Db2 for z/OS Xmanager log how to determine that a collection was started automatically
with AUTO (Y) versus online within the Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) panels.

Resolution

The presence of PDT0100 message in the Xmanager log indicates that an AUTO start was issued.
When the PDT0100 message is missing in the Xmanager log, that means the collection was started online (from the screen).
