Issue/Introduction

The following error has been encountered in the Xmanager started task log related to Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) and
Subsystem Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PSA):

PDT0113 DATASTORE DATASET IS FULL

Why does the PDT/PSA datastore not wrap.

Resolution

Wrapping will occur only after the specified number of intervals have been written to the datastore. Once this requirement is met Detector or Subsystem Analyzer will attempt to reuse the space
occupied by a previous interval. If the current interval is too large to allow reuse of previous interval data the datastore will be expanded to hold new interval data.

Detector or Subsystem Analyzer is unable to expand the datastore then the data will not wrap and externalization will be suspended for the remainder of the current collection
at which time the PDT0113 error message will display in the Xmanager log.
