Issue/Introduction

Where does the ASTEX Storage Manager data that is collected come from?  Does it monitor the main storage?

Resolution

The Storage Manager uses the data collected by the DASD Manager and CACHE Manager components to identify the performance problems and provides solutions to resolve the problems.  It does not monitor the main storage.
