Issue/Introduction

How can I use the iSponsor method to delete a backup job from BrightStor ARCserve Backup r11.1?

Resolution

The iSponsor supports administrative functions such as reschedule job, delete job, format media and so on.

In the BrightStor Portal GUI, click the Knowledge tab and navigate to the following:

Operations Backup BrightStor ARCserve Backup r11.1 <server name> Delete JobClick the method Delete Job

This will ask you to enter the user name and password for the machine that has the iSponsor (<server name>). After you successfully log on, enter the job ID of the job to be deleted and the iSponsor will delete the job from the backup application.
