Detector for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Encountering Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) message:
DT554E CONTROL FILE DATASET NAME IS INVALID OR NOT FOUND

How is the Detector Control file allocated?

Resolution

The PDT control file is allocated within Post Install's Step #5, "Execute Product Specific Customization Tasks".
The control file is defined to CDSN within the DTCFPARM member of Xmanager's PXMPARM dataset.

The DT554E error message is normally the result of an incorrect PXMPARM definition within Xmanager, or an incorrect dataset definition within the DTCFPARM member.
