Why do not I see much CPU usage by CA-ASTEX, except at the end of an interval?

Resolution

The capturing of I/O statistics takes place in the address space of the task performing the I/O. At the end of each interval, the BrightStor CA-ASTEX address space processes the collected information and stores the data into the Interval Database and/or SMF records.
