Does cmdprefix only accept 1 character for its value in setting up the Panvalet subsystem

Resolution

Only JES2 supported prefixes are supported to communicate with the SUBSYSTEM. 

There are: ? . < ( + | & ! $ * ^ / % _ > ? : # @ = "

These are only one byte long.
