Issue/Introduction

Unicenter TCPaccess X.25 Server version 6.0 implements an NPA LU that makes it appear to NetSpy as if it were an N-Way Communication Controller.

Resolution

If you were already using NetSpy to monitor X.25 statistics on a 37xx Front End Processor running NPSI, you can continue do to exactly the same with X.25 Server.

All you need to do to enable this feature in X.25 Server is to specify the name of the NPA LU on the NPALU parameter of the X25.NET command.
For example: X25.NET NPALU=ANETSPYX

To enable X.25 statistics in NetSpy, you need the following definitions in the start-up member:

DEFINE X25STAT,MON=YES,NPALU=,NTYPE=NWAYS
SSMF X25STAT,SCOPE=ALL
