What is the procedure to delete members from a Librarian master file?

Resolution

• First backup the file to tape so you have a good copy if you need to restore the member.
  
  
• Use PGM=AFOLIBR and SYSIN statements of -OPT BKUPTAPE, INDEX to do this.
  
  
• Then delete the member using PGM=AFOLIBR and SYSIN statements of -DLM member name.
