Resolution

In this case we can suspect that the volumes causing these LSPACE error msgs are either not initialized, or are for non-MVS usage, or are offline.

If any of those reasons are the case, you should add entries in the Include-Exclude table.

Go into the Host Configuration Client. Select Include-Exclude.
Select item 1 - Online Volumes.
If all the errors are from volsers that begin with UNA, then just add the one exclude for volser UNA/
Then, those volumes will not be checked in the DTOC of Volume scans.

We suggest also to add the same entry in:
Duplicate Data Sets (Volumes checked);
VSAM Data Set Attributes (Volumes Checked);
Uncataloged Data Sets (Volumes Checked).

After you make those entries, then issue the operator command:
F SAMS,REFRESH,EXCLUDE
