Introduction: 

Using the Fast Ready Category feature in IBM VTS and configured with CATCHK=YES and/or OWNCHK=YES and/or TAPECHK=YES

 

Question: 

We're using an IBM VTS and tapes are not accepted by DYNAM/T VM during AVR processing.   How can we correct that?

 

Environment:  

IBM VTS using the Fast Ready Category feature. 

 

Answer: 

CATCHK=NO, OWNCHK=NO and TAPECHK=NO must be coded if VTS Fast Ready Category is to be used.
