Description:
Static Dependent List Lookups are not available for NSQL Query Attributes. I have created an NSQL Query and I want to associate a Static Dependent List to one of the attributes, however the list of available lookups only show Dynamic Query Lists and Static Lists. Why don't I see any Static Dependent Lists?
Solution:
This is the intended behavior of the application. Currently, the application does not allow the end-user the option to associate a Static Dependent List to an attribute on an NSQL Query, nor to a filter field on a user-defined portlet. Static Dependent Lists can be used with Object Attributes, but not NSQL Query Attributes.
Note: Static Dependent List Lookups are also not available for Report and Job Definition parameters.
Workaround:
If you would like to use the data that is configured in an Static Dependent List through an NSQL Query, Portlet or Report and Job Definition parameter, you can create a Dynamic Query List. To Create a Dynamic Query Lookup ; extract the full Static Dependent path to display. This will be a flat listing, but if you design your query properly you should be able to display the entire path of each Dependent Level in the Lookup list.
