Is there an easy way to determine what release and genlevel is installed?

Solution

There are three ways to determine what release and genlevel is installed.

  1. Browse the CAILIB (loadlib) for module LVS4500 and the release and genlevel is listed there.

  2. If ISPF online product ELIPS is installed go into edit type in a master file name. On the command line type Options and enter. This will display the release and genlevel.

  3. Any Afolibr batch job output will give the release and genlevel in the report.
