Issue/Introduction

What is the best way to edit fields to include a physical but not implied decimal point within the Easytrieve program?

Environment

Easytrieve Plus Report Generator, release 6.4

Resolution

Two options:
Write to a PRINTER FILE and specify no title, no page, no date, and no headings on the REPORT statement. CCLF must then be stripped from the file.

OR

Force a '.' decimal point by defining a 1-byte A field and concatenate it between the whole number and the decimal portion of the field.
