Why is the database/instance that I just created not listed under Database Information on the Main Content Page for Performance Summary?

Issue/Introduction

Description:

I created a database and I can see it on the Console Tree, however when I drill down on the Main Content under Performance Management and Database Information, the database I just created is not there.

Solution:

The Console Tree is the direct ODBC connection. That is why you are asked to refresh every time a change is made. The Main Content page is a list of scans that are set up to the user's choice as to when the page will refresh and show the databases. CA's suggestion is if you want to see the newly created database immediately, stop and restart the agent.
