Issue/Introduction

Question arises since the release of SRM Future Pack 1 (FP1): Once FP1 is applied, what is the backwards compatibility to already existing versions of Application server 11.6, Windows Client (GUI) and Managed Computer Agents to each other?

Resolution

It will be necessary after applying FP1 to SRM 11.6 to update existing remote window clients and agents according to the below non-supportive and supportive scenarios:

The following configurations are not supported:

An SRM 11.6 FP1 windows client connecting to an 11.6 RP3 application server.

An SRM 11.6 RP3 windows client connecting to an 11.6 FP1 application server.

An SRM 11.6 RP3 application server collecting from an 11.6 FP1 agent.

The following configuration is supported:

An SRM 11.6 FP1 application server collecting from an 11.6 RP3 agent.
