Description:
I have configured the self registeration and now see the forgotten password task in the view tasks and see the realms in siteminder. When I access the url for forgotten password I now get a siteminder screen that says:
Account Information
you cannot access your account at this time.
Please contact your Security Administrator or Help Desk.
Is there some other configuration I need to do in Siteminder to make this work?
Solution:
User Tracking must be on to identify a user when that user is in a realm that is protected by anonymous auth.
To enable user tracking:
1. Log into the Policy Server User Interface (refer to Policy Server User Inter-
face on page 21).
2. From the menu bar of the SiteMinder Administration window, select Tools >
Global Settings.
The SiteMinder Global Settings dialog box opens.
3. Select the Enable User Tracking check box.
4. Click OK.
The SiteMinder Global Settings dialog box closes. The Policy Server
enables user tracking.
Restart the Policy Server.
