I have made change in the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE in my DYNVM dynam extension machine, but this are not honored. What did I do wrong? I have also applied a PTF to VM extension but I still get the error it should solve.

Issue/Introduction

Description

I have modified the CTLSCR parameter in the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE so that DYNAMCMS TDYNIBM will only synchronize the tape range specified in the CTLSCR parm, but TDYNIBM is still listing all the tapes from my DYNAM catalog.

Solution

When you do an update in the DYNVM machine, apply a PTF or modify some or the ASSEMBLE members, please execute the following EXEC to activate the change:

TQ70ASM
TQ70Y4G1
TQ70TAG1
TQ70G001

And then restart the service machine.

Please do not forget to ask the users with a LINK on DYNVM 191 to reaccess the disk after maintenance.
