How to activate changes after DTPARMS ASSEMBLE

Issue/Introduction

You have modified the CTLSCR parameter in the DTPARMS ASSEMBLE so that DYNAMCMS TDYNIBM will only synchronize the tape range specified in the CTLSCR parm, but TDYNIBM is still listing all the tapes from your DYNAM catalog.

Resolution

When you do an update in the DYNVM machine, apply a PTF or modify some or the ASSEMBLE members, please execute the following EXEC to activate the change:

TQ70ASM
TQ70Y4G1
TQ70TAG1
TQ70G001

And then restart the service machine.

Please do not forget to ask the users with a LINK on DYNVM 191 to re-access the disk after maintenance.
