Issue/Introduction

Description:

A credential userid has been defined but when launching Job Editor, Job Flow Design, Job Flow Monitoring or Job Status Console it still prompts for a userid and password.

Solution:

This is caused by the fact that eIAM is enabled by default in UWCC r11.0 while it is disabled in AutoSys r11.0.

This may give the impression that the credential userid is not working correctly.

To change this behaviour you can either:

  1. Enable eIAM on your AutoSys environment by executing 'autosys_secure'.

Note: in order to use eIAM further customizations needs to be done at the eIAM level.

  2. Or disable eIAM on UWCC:

    1. Select Configuration

    2. Go to the 'Security' tab.

    3. Select 'IAM Configuration'

    4. Select 'Disable' for field 'IAM Support'

Deploy your changes and recycle the UWCC services.

Note: In the previous version UWCC 1.0 SP4, eIAM is disabled by default.
