PPLDCRT6 module usage for Plan Analyzer located in Db2 DSNEXIT

Issue/Introduction

During the process of cleaning up a Db2 DSNEXIT library, located module PPLDCRT6.
Is this an obsolete module as it is not in the current Database Management for Db2 for z/OS hlq.LOADLIB.

 

Resolution

Plan Analyzer table space PTDB PTITSPA1 is an obsolete tablespace that is no longer used. Originally the table within PTITSPA1 was defined with EDITPROC PPLDCRT6
which was distributed in the Database Management for Db2 for z/OS LOADLIB that would normally be copied to SDSNEXIT or SDSNLOAD load libraries.

The current PPA tablespace which replaced PTITSPA1 is defined with COMPRESS YES and the EDITPROC is no longer used and not distributed in the current maintenance.
