Issue/Introduction

Description:

I have a Scalability Server reporting a Domain Manager.
I want to redirect the Scalability Server to a different Domain Manager. How can I do this without re-installing DSM?

Solution:

The following commands will move the Scalability Server from one Domain Manager to another:

  1. cserver config -h <FQDN of new DM>
  2. cserver register -a
  3. caf register all
  4. caf stop
  5. caf start

Sometimes, it takes a while for the move operation to complete based on the number of records for the SS (agents + packages + history).

Note: These commands have to be executed on the Scalability Server.
