Issue/Introduction

Description:

Is the statement oscomponent.libjvmpath=  in the agentparm.txt file required only for Unix installations due to a specific java requirements for such platforms?

Solution:

On Unix the java shared library ends up in slightly different places with slightly different names depending on the OS and architecture (x86, Itanium, 32/64 bits etc).  So it's tunable. On MSWindows it has always been in a known place so it just hasn't been necessary to expose the path in agentparm.txt yet.
