Issue/Introduction

Solution:

If the DSN prefix of the log data sets match the prefix as defined in CAPPFX, CPKPFX and TRENDPFX VKPGARMS, then object 'Log, Capture and Checkpoint Data Sets' (OBJ02139) can be used.
This object is available under:

-> CA Vantage Internal Managemet

-> Analysis Tools

-> Log, Capture and Checkpoint Data Sets

If the DSN prefix of your log data sets do not match the current settings for CAPPFX, CPKPFX or TRENDPFX VKPGARMS, then the object number from the data set name can be used in object 'Object Definions' as Filter (see below).

Log data set names have the following format:

DSN=prefix.Oobjnb.Lvssid.Dyyyyddd.Thhmmss,

where;

prefix is the TRENDPFX value

O is the letter O

objnb is the object number taken from the dictionary

L is the letter L

v is the version number for the object data. Product developers increment this number in the host dictionary whenever the record layout changes for the object.

This object is available under:

-> CA Vantage Internal Managemet

-> Analysis Tools

-> Dictionary

-> Object Definions
