How to launch the DSM reporter of a remote Domain Manager?

Issue/Introduction

There are several DSM Domain Managers in our environment. How can I access the DSM reporter of these Domain Managers from a single machine instead of having dedicated machines for each Domain Manager?

CA Client Automation - All versions

Resolution

The dsmreporter.exe command can be used to launch the DSM reporter of local/remote DSM Manager.

Syntax:

dsmreporter.exe [manager:<manager>] [locale:<loc_id>]

Specify the manager name to connect to the DSM reporter of the desired Domain Manager.

Ex: dsmreporter.exe manager:<domain manager hostname>

 

 

 

***Note: If the manager parameter is not supplied, the reporter will connect to the default manager component of the client installation.
