Issue/Introduction

Description:

The following error occurs while trying to deploy a package:
Item is already installed, using this Procedure. [SDM223600]

I would like to reinstall the package again on the Agent as I suspect some of the files are missing. How do I do that?

Solution:

To redeploy the same package on an Agent, follow the steps given below:

• While deploying the package select the option 'Open the advanced job settings dialog when the Finish button is pressed'.

  Right-click the package and select Copy. Right-click the Agent and select the option 'Paste->Software packages to deploy with custom settings'.
  
  
• In the Setup Jobs window go to 'Jobs' tab and enable the check box 'Remove existing installation records and re-run the selected procedure'. Click OK.
