Issue/Introduction

Description:

In CA Top Secret r12, how do you to test the obsolescence of the PWVIEW.

How do I override the primary PWVIEW control option in CA Top Secret r12 options?

Solution:

The PWVIEW(NO) setting does not have to be set in CA Top Secret r12. Viewing of passwords is no longer allowed.

If you do a:

TSS LIST(acid) DATA(PASSWORD)

in CA Top Secret 12.0, the PASSWORD = field will be blank.

This will confirm that the password will no longer be viewable
