Issue/Introduction

Description:

Attempt to delete user from application dictionary results in DC601006
DC601006 DELETE NOT ALLOWED
An attempt to delete an entity occurrence has failed.
The object entity occurrence cannot be deleted because it is currently owned by another CA component.
How do I determine which entity or component is preventing delete?

Solution:

This message indicates that this userid entity occurrence is owned by another component. In other words, there is a connect between the USER-047 record and the CATENTRY-160 records. This connection is made whenever the USER saves an OLQ report, QFILE, etc...

To Delete this record, you can use DMLO to CALC to the USER-047 record and issue ERASE ALL. If you do not have DMLO you can use DBOL or write a dialog
or program to do the same.
