Issue/Introduction

Description

This problem might occur when the pm.xml and wl.xml get corrupted or not present in the original location.

Solution

The following errors can be seen in tomcat.log.

org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionF actory, cause: The TCP/IP connection to the host has failed. java.net.Connec tException: Connection timed out: connect

To fix the above problem:

  1. Stop the Unicenter Sevice Desk services

  • Take backup of pm.xml, wl.xml and workflow folder from original location

  • Delete the above mentioned files and folder.

  • Start the services again

  • Now check the status of the tomcat using pdm_tomcat_nxd -c status
