Issue/Introduction

Description:

To deploy agents the 'ADMIN$' share has to be enabled on the targets. Can this be disabled after deployment?

Solution:

The deployment manager attempts to connect to a Windows network share on the target system for deploying the primer.
By default the share name used is ADMIN$, however, this can be changed by means of the "defaultTargetShare" configuration policy as outlined in techdoc TEC477446.

The ADMIN$ share can be disabled after the DSM agent is installed.
