Issue/Introduction

A CAS9612I message may be issued during CAIENF execution, with the initialization of CCI services.

CAS9754I - CAICCI LU Services Manager now active
CAS9751I - CAICCI Server Manager now active

CAS9641I - CAICCI Communication Manager now active
CAS9612I - CAICCI Host Application Table APPLID not defined

 

Why do I get the message: "CAS9612I - CAICCI Host Application Table APPLID not defined?

Environment

Release:
Component: CCIMVS

Cause

This message can occur if there is no PROTOCOL(VTAM,...) or PROTOCOL(LU0,...) statement defined.

If you are not using the VTAM protocol, you should ignore this message (CAS9612I).

Resolution

If you are planning on using the VTAM protocol, you should add the appropriate PROTOCOL statement to the CCIPARM member.
