Issue/Introduction

Description:

The below steps detail how to setup the workflow Auto login feature.

Solution:

1. Stop the Workflow Tomcat server using the following command or by shutting down Service Desk:
   
   pdm_tomcat_nxd -d STOP -t CAWF
   
   
2. Delete the \pm\ and \wl\ folders from the directory:
   
   $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_WF\webapps\

• Delete everything under the $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_WF\work\ directory.

• Navigate to the pm.xml and wl.xml files in the following directory:
  
  $NX_ROOT\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_WF\conf\Catalina\localhost
  
  
• Edit pm.xml and wl.xml and change the value of the following line:

1. (Before editing) <Environment name="automaticLoginEnabled" override="true" type="java.lang.Boolean" value="false"/>
   
   
2. (After editing) <Environment name="automaticLoginEnabled" override="true" type="java.lang.Boolean" value="true"/>
   
   

• Restart the Tomcat server using the following command:
  
  pdm_tomcat_nxd -d START -t CAWF

• Access a ticket with a Workflow task and select one of the tasks.
  
  
• The Worklist appears and the automatic login is successful.

NOTE: Enabling auto login for CA Workflow requires that EEM be attached to an external directory.
