Database Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

How does the Database Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PDA) model referenced in the Model Name field for the "STEP JCL MODEL PARAMETERS" section
on the PDA "BUILD ACTION PROCEDURE" panel (panel ID RAPUBPM) work in conjunction with the models specified for the IBM codes?

For example, for the IC (Image Copy) or RO (Reorg) codes.
This is the panel that displays when creating an action procedure from option 2, Action Procedures of the Database Analyze main menu.

Resolution

This step model is a common JCL prefix, which defaults to the MJUTLGL member, that contains the EXEC and common DDs statements used by all the IBM Db2 utilities.
It is concatenated with the model supplied for the IBM code chosen, (which will contain the DDs and the control cards specific to that IBM utility).
