Issue/Introduction

Description

When trying to put a job ON_HOLD, we are getting the following error message:

          Error: Machine: Access Denied! AutoSys/eTrust subscriber authentication error:
                    the phACEE parameter is a null pointer

Solution

This error involves eTrust Access Control security.

This error is prompted when the back end user configured to connect to and AutoSys has not been properly subscribed to the eAC PMDB. Therefore, it is not able to make its local copy of the policies in the seosdb.

To subscribe the user to the PMDB, please run the following command from the autosys machine:

                  sepmd -n autosys

Another cause of this error has been when the user has been created without a password in eAC.

NOTE: "sepmd -L autosys" checks subscriptions
