Impact Of Renaming A Top Secret FACILITY Like CICSPROD

Issue/Introduction
If you need to rename a Top Secret FACILITY such as CICSPROD to something like CICSMAIN, what are the ramifications?
Do you have to remove the facility from all acids that have it?
Do you have to revoke all permits done with FAC(CICSPROD)?
Do you have to remove MASTFAC(CICSPROD) from all CICS region acids and ADD the new one to all?
Resolution
Top Secret internally works with an unique number for each FACILITY. Top Secret doesn't use the FACILITY name to identify a FACILITY. You can rename a FACILITY. All acids with the newly changed FACILITY will automatically pick up the new FACILITY name.
There is NO need to REMove, REVoke and ADD/PERmit again.
Example:
To rename CICSPROD FACILITY to CICSMAIN, enter:
TSS MODI FAC(CICSPROD=NAME=CICSMAIN)
Additional Information
To make the change permanent, update the Top Secret parameter file with:
FAC(CICSPROD=NAME=CICSMAIN)
In Top Secret r16.0 and above, if you use the control option FACSTOR(YES), you don't need to update the Top Secret parameter file because the FACILITY is stored and automatically updated on the VSAM security file.
