EE_MAXSIZEEXCEEDED Max Search Size Exceeded error when listing Users or Groups in Integrated Applications

Issue/Introduction

When listing Global Users or Global Groups from within eIAM the following error is received:

EE_MAXSIZEEXCEEDED Max Search Size Exceeded

This error can be returned through integration to related products as well, for example, CA Service Catalog.

Resolution

The maximum search size can be increased by the following procedure.

  • Log into the eIAM User Interface
     
  • Select the 'Configure' tab
     
  • Select 'Session'
     
  • Select 'Configuration'
     
  • Within the 'Configuration' tab there is a field for 'Max Search Size'
     
  • A value of 2000 is present by default
     
  • This value can be modified as needed. Usually, a size of 5000 will be sufficient
